Quite amazed how much detail my new camera can capture in this image of this House Sparrow

About Me

How it started... I have always liked my wildlife wright from childhood. I never really feed the birds in the garden because we have always had cats. But were we are now the neighbors feed the birds and our cats haven’t bothered about them, may be because they’re getting older now. So I started to put food out for them as well, and then there were all sorts coming, birds I’d never seen, or ones I’d not seen up close for years. I just wanted to catch them on film so started using my husband’s camera in the garden, and look where it’s led me…

About

The kids and hubby where always use to wild animals and birds being brought home if injured or weak, brought home to help them back to life, there life where it should be, in the wild. I have always seen the things that other people just didn’t see, tiny insects, wild flowers and animals. And one day I decided to photograph what I saw, my husband is in to photography I started using one of his spare cameras, a Panasonic DMC-L1, and starting to capture these things I saw. I am now hooked, oh and he’s lost the camera! Barbara Meheux
